This Georgia native's love for storytelling began as a child where she was often writing stories, reading magazines front to back, and running through 500-page books in a day. Through her time spent as a student-athlete at two universities, Sydney has developed a passion for unique perspectives and narratives to match.

 

Davis has worked at several local Arkansas tv stations, produced, anchored, and reported for the University of Arkansas's student-run news station (UATV), and written and published several articles for Pulp Magazine  and Grind Pretty Magazine.

 

She has also worked alongside the Southeastern Conference and ESPN staff to publish content to the official digital and social platforms of the SEC, including 

SECSports.com.

 

Altogether, Sydney prides herself on doing So(u)l work -- whether that means shedding light on what is happening around the world, sharing light on her good news newscast, Sydney In The House, or taking in the light she receives from the relationships formed through these opportunities.

 

As a former SEC student-athlete, Davis excels in utilizing teamwork, time management skills, and strong verbal communication to broadcast the truth to the public.
